Holly began singing on tiny villages stages in Wales at around 6 years old. At 11 she began to learn chords on the guitar, and at 13 started to write her own songs.
She regularly performed at open-mics and gigs during her university years in Sheffield, playing her own songs as well as The Cranberries, Skunk Anansie and Joni Mitchell covers and other favourites!
It was a relatively passive search for genuine, lasting happiness that brought her to A Course in Miracles, but a sincere need for purpose and meaning. This has become the core of her life and the only inspiration for her songwriting.
She is currently based in Hemel Hempstead and busks on Hertfordshire streets. She also performs at local events and gigs on her own and with Chris Neale, a pianist and producer who has added beautiful piano parts to some of her songs. Chris has enabled Holly to release her first 3-song EP of original music.
Holly’s constantly growing repertoire covers various different genres for pub gigs and events, including a range of jazz standards from the 1920s-40s, and folk and pop music from the 1960s to the present.
