I began singing on tiny villages stages in Wales at around 6 years old. At 11 I began to learn chords on the guitar, and at 13 started to write my own songs. I regularly performed at open-mics and gigs during my university years, playing my own music, Joni Mitchell covers and other favourites.
It was a relatively passive ‘search’ for genuine, lasting happiness that brought me to A Course in Miracles and the Master Teacher of the Course, but a sincere need for purpose and meaning. This has become the core of my life and the only inspiration for my songwriting.
I am currently busking on Hertfordshire streets and performing at local events and gigs on my own and with Chris Neale who has added beautiful piano parts to some of my songs. We have also begun recording together.
I sing various different genres for pub gigs and events, including a range of jazz standards from the 1920s-40s, and folk and pop music from the 1960s to the present.
