I have been singing all my life. From the age of six I was performing at village concerts in East Wales where I grew up, with my father accompanying me on the guitar. When I was eleven I decided I wanted to be independent with my accompaniment. Playing guitar naturally led me to start writing songs and poetry, which began around age twelve. 

In my early twenties I was a student in Sheffield, I was doing a lot of gigs, singing my own songs at nights my friends would put on. However I always felt that it wasn’t the right time for me and that at some point I would have a clear message that I would want to share. I always had a strong drive towards personal growth and this evolved into a desire for spiritual experiences and a deep longing for meaning, understanding, purpose and peace.

At twenty-six I discovered an incredible spiritual text called A Course in Miracles and began to understand that a different frequency of thought and experience was available to me. Over the last fifteen years, through my dearest friend, spiritual brother and teacher Simon Christopher and our Illuminate Mind Foundation, the depth and kaleidoscopic nature of this profound teaching has become the basis and the cornerstone of my life, my poetry and my songwriting.

As the Course expresses it: “A universal theology is impossible. A universal experience is not only possible but necessary.” Having received many beautiful experiences of the wholeness of all things, and myself as that perfect wholeness, beyond the limitations of space, time and form, my desire is now to share the clarity of those experiences through the dual medium of music and poetry that has been given me.
