Holly has been singing all her life and playing guitar since the age of 12. At this time she also began writing poetry and songs. Her songwriting was centred around relationships and the difficulties of functioning in the world with undiagnosed audhd, until the age of 26, when she found a spiritual practice and purpose that completely changed her life.
“A universal theology is impossible, but a universal experience is not only possible but necessary.” A Course in Miracles teaches these words, and this understanding has become the foundation of Holly’s songwriting and her life. She spent 15 years studying and teaching this extraordinary spiritual work, and is now emerging from this stage of her life with a strong desire to share the light, the understanding and the peace she has received.
Some recording sessions with Chris Neale, piano player and sound engineer, resulted in a 2020 3-song EP entitled This Film is Made by Me. Holly is currently working on getting back into her (very portable!) home studio and sharing some of the new songs and poetry that are flowing daily from her ongoing inner work and meditative experiences.
Holly has recently started writing songs with the piano, which has opened up a whole new universe of expression for her. She is excited to share the new flow of ideas and inspiration that she’s currently stepping into.
Holly has a nomadic inclination and a strong connection to animals and to the natural world and she is currently a house sitter, moving from place to place, taking care of people’s homes and pets. She is based mainly in the South East of England, covering West London, Surrey, Sussex and Hampshire with her house sitting business. She has a beloved van that has aspirations to become a full-time camper, which will give her more freedom to travel and to share her music with the world.
