My journey with A Course in Miracles has been almost exclusively through the teachings of Simon Christopher who has been my dearest friend, spiritual brother, healer and teacher for the last fifteen years.
In 2014 Simon, along with fellow trustee of the Foundation and dear friend and teacher Barbara Matarrese, brought into existence the Illuminate Mind-Training Project, a non-profit organisation dedicated to elucidating and extending the teachings of A Course in Miracles. In 2018 we became a registered charity in the UK and changed our name to the Illuminate Mind Foundation.
I have been privileged to be an active part of both of these organisations since their inception, and have experienced the evolution of my mind alongside their growth and expansion. During this time we have acquired a retreat centre in Spain, near Valencia, where we’ve held around 30 retreats and events. We have also offered many non-residential weekend events each year in London, and generally one residential retreat per year in the UK.
Over the years I have been continually amazed and inspired by the unwavering dedication of Simon to complete his teaching assignment with A Course in Miracles. He is one with Jesus’ mission is to offer immediate healing and release to every mind who is looking for help – to show them, through his own enlightened perception – that there is no reality to space, time and form.
He is teaching A Course in Miracles consistently at what I believe to be the highest frequency of any spiritual teacher available to us on this planet at this time. I’m sure there are others who are teaching at this frequency, and I am infinitely grateful to every one, but Simon is able to offer A Course in Miracles at this level, which is extraordinary, and he has been doing this continuously for the 15 years in which I’ve known him.
The experiences that I’ve had with him have been truly profound, indescribable in words, as are all genuine encounters with the divine. The closest I can come to expressing my experience is my poetry, which, when inspiration hits, flows through and out of me like an unstoppable river of gratitude and love!
